RBC Still on Wealth Management Hiring Trail - Report

RBC Wealth Management, part of

, continues to hire from bigger brokerages damaged by market turmoil; according to Dow Jones, the firm has taken on 68 financial consultants in the first quarter of the 2009 financial year.
US hires include Curtis Faulkner at the
Bend,
Oregon, office from
Morgan Stanley
as a financial consultant; he reports to Stuart Johns, branch director. In
Pasadena, Michael Healy has joined from
Citi’s Smith Barney
brokerage as branch director.
RBC has also hired
Richard Sorenson from
UBS Wealth Management US as director of the firm's
Portland,
Oregon, complex.
